RELEASES "FRANKLY SPEAKING"

"Frankly Strumming, Life's a beach this summer"

Known for his deft guitar strumming, Gordon Franks is a local artist who displays a deep passion for the guitar since he was eight years old.

With his first introduction to his mentor George Benson's Weekend in LA, Gordon has come a long way and now sees him launching his first national CD "Frankly Speaking".

Featuring two original tracks by Franks, this 16 tracker is a selection of his most favoured and popular songs that have attracted many fans to his music.

Franks has had the opportunity to perform on stage with Jonathan Butler; The Rockets, Lionel Peterson, Felicia Marion and a host of other local musicians.

Franks is intent on remaining a jazz guitarist but compromises his musical repertoire in order to satisfy his listeners. The Tracks include Ricky Nelson's If You Should Ever Think Of Leaving Me; Eric Clapton s, You Look Wonderful Tonight; the Raiders' and the title track an original composition "Frankly Speaking".
